Hatari @ TIB MEETS FIT 2.0

“The erotic resources in culture, those energies capable of holding a community together by inspiring it with games and festivals, are increasingly depleting and, without them, we reach a destructive atomization of society. The rites and ceremonies are genuine human actions capable of making life appear in a festive and magical key, while their disappearance desecrates and profanes, making it mere survival.” Byung-Chul Han

TIB (Ticino is Burning) meets FIT is an exercise in coexistence between a group of artists and festival management with the common purpose of imagining and creating a place/time of gathering, between the ordinary and the unexpected, in a way to strengthen connections and inspire new ones. This year, this exercise is translated into the realization of a festive event with the attempt to find ourselves in an extra-ordinary context, in the need to rediscover real human actions capable of bearing brief moments of reenchantment in our city.
